Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Importantly, the body had recovered really well following Canberra and as Bec pointed out, I had only ridden 22 1/2hrs at Canberra! Second challenge was to wrangle some time off work, typically I would have a week off following but that was never going to get approved, so I went with only 2 days and that was given the green light from the bosses. In fact during this race the handlebar Betty light ran at 40% and the helmet Betty R was locked in at 50%. Have a chat to Bill, they...

Dirtrider: March 2012

http://jasonquigley.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, March 1, 2012. All the tension in the rear shifter gone and pedalling becomes strangely hard when it should be easier? Finished the 3 laps somewhat frustrated because of the broken cable but nonetheless really happy to have brought the Element, l even considered doing another lap purely to let the bike rip the downhill section again! Keep the rubber side down. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 2013 Rocky Mountain Element 999RSL. 2012 Rocky Mountain Vertex 990RSL.

Dirtrider: October 2013

http://jasonquigley.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 17, 2013. Now that the dust has settled I've had a few beers, to try and help erase the memories of those last few hrs last Sunday morning I thought it would be about time to put some words to paper (so to speak) and let those interested in the goings on last weekend at the WEMBO 24hr solo champs of how the weekend unfolded for me. Was rolling through pits, ensuring to pick up any food and bottles within the 3mt frontage of the support tent! In true 24hr racing fashion the night laps ro...

Dirtrider: April 2013

http://jasonquigley.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Australian 2013 24hr Solo champs. We ended leaving later than I would have liked and eventually got to Stromlo set up, very quickly and Cam and I headed out for a sighting lap around 5:30 pm. I had a bit of an idea of the track but got to the top of, what will be referred to as "that Bitch of a climb out the back! And had no idea where to go! In no uncertain terms it was pointed out to me that no visible clean skin was to be seen within 10 centimetres above my ankle. Sorry Cam.

http://jasonquigley.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Saturday, April 30, 2011. Been home for a few days now and the pains are beginning to subside, I even rode the bike yesterday that's a record for remounting the bike following a 24hr race. And here's the race report in record days following the race, should keep Brad Davies happy and stop him pestering me! Woke after a chilly Friday night (down to below 0 degrees), to be met by a golden Saturday morning, no wind, cloudless skies. Perfect. The legs strangely were ok considering they had been propelling me...

Dirtrider: May 2012

http://jasonquigley.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html

Thursday, May 24, 2012. Oh sweet canada and Rocky Mountain bikes, a match made in heaven. Links to this post. The start was the usual self seeded affair and was strange to look around in the freezing cold to the differing array of bikes on offer and MTBs were definitely on the majority side of the ledger and there was a lot of riders on cross bikes that were unfamiliar to me, road riders no doubt! Unfortunately the results table saw differently and put Lisa before you in the results! Links to this post.
