Sunday, May 17, 2009. 2 month check up. Monday, May 11 th. Was a day I've been dreading since Reagan was born.2 month shots! So we met Joel at the Doctor's office so he could hold my hand while I held Reagan! Before I get to the shots here are her two month stats. Weight: 12 lbs 2 oz - 75%. Length: 22.5 in - 50%. Head: Can't remember the exact measurement - 90%! So she gained 4 pounds and 2.5 inches in two months and has a BIG head - daddy says it is because. She is so smart! Here is our sweet little gir...

Monday, January 31, 2011. McKinley Marie Mathews 10.4.10. I finally had some time to sit down and write out McKinley's birth story before I forgot. Here it is:. 2010 - The first time I went into labor. Sunday morning, August 8 th. Was bright and hot. Joel, Reagan, and I went to church like any typical Sunday. We took this picture before hand. I was 29 weeks and 6 days pregnant. After church I ran some errands and shopped at a baby/children's consignment. Things were a big blurr. After that. My mom, d...

The Mathews' Memories: 2010 In Review
http://themathews3.blogspot.com/2011/04/im-not-sentimental-person.html
Friday, April 8, 2011. I'm not a sentimental person. I'm just not. I'll blame that on my mom - thanks mom! I figure the best way to catch up to now is to review the highlights of 2010 month by month. So let's take a little tour of what's been going on in the Mathews' lives since my last post, which as you can see, was January 2010. oops. March 6th. What a surreal day that was. My heart was torn between excitement of seeing her grow and learn and wanting her to be my little bitty newborn again. Yes, anoth...

The Mathews' Memories: December 2008
http://themathews3.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 29, 2008. So, I'll admit I'm a bit late, but better late than never right? Joel and I had a fabulous Christmas spent with family and friends. We stayed in Missouri as my work schedule doesn't allow us to travel, plus I'm not sure I could have handled. Toast - you get the picture. Joel looked forward to it all week and he could barely eat the Christmas lunch my mom fixed! To having Reagan here next year, I'm just imagining. All the pink toys and clothes that will be under the tree! She ha...

The Mathews' Memories: Sisters
http://themathews3.blogspot.com/2011/04/sisters.html
Saturday, April 16, 2011. I never had a sister. I have a pretty awesome little brother. But no sister. So when we found out we were having another little girl I got pretty excited about getting to raise sisters. And a little nervous too. During my pregnancy I would try and imagine how Reagan would react to her baby sister. I prayed there would be minimal jealousy and that my two girls would have a close bond. And I'm happy to report that everything is going great so far! Over from head to toe and kiss her.

The Mathews' Memories: August 2009
http://themathews3.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Some fun things Reagan can do now! Roll from back to tummy like a pro. Get mad b/c she can't figure out how to roll back to her tummy. Sit in the " tri. Pod" position for a few moments unassisted. Do mini push ups. And hold her head way way up. Sit like a big girl in her high chair. Squeal, talk, and blow bubbles all the time. Realize when we've left the room and cry because we're gone. Eat cereal from a spoon. Hold her bottle for a few seconds at a time. Get a sad pouty. Ready...

The Mathews' Memories: Our little Pumpkin!
http://themathews3.blogspot.com/2009/10/our-little-pumpkin.html
Sunday, October 25, 2009. Last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch and had an awesome time. The day was beautiful, a bit windy but warm. We picked out some great pumpkins and got some cute photos of our favorite little pumpkin! And tonight we carved them! It was a lot of fun! Reagan didn't want to touch the "guts" - Daddy called her a diva and a prissy girl, haha. Here are the finished products. Joel's is the skull, mine is the ghost, and Reagan's is the little monster! Happy Halloween from the Mathews'!
