I completed my first measurement of a second tree in Thorpe Park which turned out to be about 488 years old when it was cut down. (It took me less than 8 hours to measure these 488 rings, compared to 14 hours on the previous tree's 306 rings, so I'm getting quicker! The July monsoon season has produced an abundance of wildflowers this August, just begging for attention - which I'm happy to give!
