Saturday, August 31, 2013. Summer Road Trip} Day One. As soon as we left Nevada and went in to Arizona, we met up with the Virgin River in this gorge area. It was so beautiful and we got really excited for our first destination! Next we continued on in to Utah. It was Labor Day and the town of Springdale, UT was lined with American Flags. Saturday, June 29, 2013. It was hot.and we went swimming at Grammie and Grampie's today. 104 degrees hot to be exact! We picked up In N Out on our way over, ate and then jumped in to the pool. Monday, May 27, 2013. Project 365} Week 19, 20 and 21. I do not know what happened! Monday, May 6, 2013. Project 365} Week 18. Because she wanted to help Daddy get the rock that was stuck in the brake out since it was making a terrible noise. Friday, September 6, 2013. Summer Road Trip} Day Seven. We left Bryce Canyon this morning, but we had to stop and take our picture at the sign before we did! After taking some pictures at the sign, we headed out on the Bright Angel Point Trail to see the Grand Canyon's North Rim. We wanted to get out there and back before more rain and thunder set in. Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Summer Road Trip} Day Four. This morning (at 11am) we walked to the visitor's center and hopped on the shuttle and went all the way to the Temple of Sinawava to walk on the Riverwalk Trail to the Narrows. What we did not plan on was the fact that Lauren would want to do almost the whole walk all by herself! Tuesday, September 10, 2013. I decided to have a mother daughter day today with Lauren. We got dressed cute and headed to the mall without much purpose other than to have some fun, get some lunch and maybe buy some new shoes or something. Monday, September 2, 2013. Summer Road Trip} Day Three. This morning, Justin and I got a very early start because we were hiking Angel's Landing. We had to be on the first bus at 6:30am. Everyone we know said to start super early to beat the crowds on the chains, and we were SO glad we did! There is a 1,400 foot elevation gain in just over two and a half miles. Sunday, March 31, 2013. Easter was simple this year. It sort of snuck up on us. With surgery being just a few days before, the whole family just took it easy. We spent the weekend in Temecula finishing up projects that did not get finished the week before when I was up there recovering from surgery and then on Eater morning it was basket time for Lauren! She was super excited for her sand castle building supplies! She was also very excited about her Princess and the Pea Floor Puzzle. Project 365} Week 12.
