Observations from a wallflower. Tuesday, June 2, 2015. The Garbage Truck- Part 2. A few years back, when I was living in Kentucky and working at the preschool, I wrote a blog post about how much those preschoolers loved to see the garbage man. http:/ jennamissboyd.blogspot.com/2009 04 01 archive.html. Then, this sweet video showed up in my Facebook news feed a few times last week. Https:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Emily grace [long distance lobsters]. June 3, 2015 at 8:57 AM. Observations from a wallflower. Sunday, February 15, 2015. Since Elisha is talking more now, he's also surprising us with some of the things that he knows. When I put him to sleep at night, I pray for him first. Then I say, "I love you," and give him a hug and a kiss. This was our conversation after I put him in his crib last week:. Elisha: I keeess you. Me: You want to kiss me? Then he walked over to where I was standing next to his crib and planted an open-mouthed kiss on my cheek. Links to this post.

Observations from a wallflower.: April 2009
http://jennamissboyd.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Observations from a wallflower. Friday, April 24, 2009. And then a hero comes along. Here's a little story about how every person can be a hero in someone else's eyes, even if they don't necessarily know that they are. About 1-2 days per week, the garbage man comes to the CDC in order to empty our dumpster. Whenever this happens, quite a few of the kids will run to the window and yell, "THE GARBAGE TRUCK IS HERE! http://jennamissboyd.blogspot.com/2015/01/2014.html
Observations from a wallflower. Sunday, January 4, 2015. It's time for another reflection on the previous year. I'm kind of proud of myself because I just looked at the years that I've written these for and I've only missed 2012 since 2008. There are probably ones from earlier years on myspace, too, but I haven't looked there in forever. Onward to the list! April: I don't really know what happened in April, so I'm guessing that it was more working and spending time outside. July: We went to visit our fri...

http://jennamissboyd.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Observations from a wallflower. Sunday, January 26, 2014. Happy 9 Monthiversary, Elisha. You are 9 months old today, which means that you have been out in the world for the same amount of time that you were in my belly. How crazy to think that the time I spent waiting for you is now the same as the time that I've actually known you! You're such a happy little guy. You pretty much only cry anymore when you're tired or hungry. Or when you fall down and hit your head. I love giving you new foods to eat....
