Sascha's Stumblings: September 2009
http://saschstumbles.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 30, 2009. T minus One Day. I keep having to remind myself that this time tomorrow I will have just arrived in Singapore and resting before the continuing journey to Cape Town! I complained that this trip was taking ages to get here - now it just feels like the last month or so flew by without me even noticing! Did I actually go into what the conference I'm going to is for? I don't think so. This is the World Congress of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, as run by FIGO (International Federa...

Sascha's Stumblings: August 2009
http://saschstumbles.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 22, 2009. He Puts My Tears In A Bottle (Psalm 56:8). Earlier in the week, I lost two people who meant everything to me growing up. Allan and Kari Taylor played such a huge part in my life as a child, and it is unbelievable to me that they have gone. Their passing was hugely traumatic for all concerned, and I can't think about them without crying. Every chapel memory I have has Mr T in it. I remember one in particular (that has NEVER left me), where he shared his love of the word ENTH...

Sascha's Stumblings: Return of the Muppets
http://saschstumbles.blogspot.com/2010/03/return-of-muppets.html
Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Return of the Muppets. Last Monday we traipsed on down to BNE domestic to welcome back Bek and Dion after their year at Vana in Chivhu, Zimbabwe. We had a great time with them, their parents, Dawn, Michael, Andrew and Nic that night at dinner; and now are enjoying having them stay with us for the next two and a bit weeks. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am in my late 20s, married and employed in Perioperative Nursing for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Countdown to Abeje's Birth.

Sascha's Stumblings: March 2009
http://saschstumbles.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 20, 2009. The beginnings of tutoring. One of my 'goals' for the last year has been to get more involved in African issues whilst based in Australia. I figured that if I couldn't get myself back 'home' anytime soon, I had to do SOMETHING to keep that restless spirit satiated. My nose seems to be growing! Ever since to be assigned a family to work with. I can't believe it! For more information on VoRTCS - please visit www.refugeetutoring.org. Links to this post. Sunday, March 15, 2009. B and ...

Sascha's Stumblings: Baby Bump
http://saschstumbles.blogspot.com/2010/03/baby-bump.html
Sunday, March 7, 2010. Well the belly is growing by leaps and bounds. I'm not feeling too bad now - tiredness is always there and I think Abeje has found my ribs well and truly; but life's going pretty well. I'm now over halfway (21 weeks tomorrow) and to be honest the whole thing rather surprises me. It's been a time where I've counted down each 'milestone' as I pass it, and to have got this far never ceases to amaze me. 21 February - 18 weeks 6 days. The bump looks great and you looked very radiant at ...
