Robert and Natalie's World: November 2013
http://robertandnatalie.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 01, 2013. And then a tiny person suddenly existed. As a preface to our birth story, I want to explain our birth choice. And not infrequently, other women would look impressed/doubtful and say something like, "Wow, you're so brave." So I want to explain why we made this choice. So with that out of the way. We tried everything to get labor going. All the tricks. We walked and walked and walked, I took all sorts of herbs, did acupuncture and cupping, evening primrose oil, chiropract...Could...

Robert and Natalie's World: December 2009
http://robertandnatalie.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Who ya gonna call? Okay, something that happened tonight that is so wonderfully amazing, that I have to come out of my long blogging retirement to tell the story. I'm at work tonight, on a really slooooow night, where we don't have an awful lot of staff on hand. A (male) guest called down in the evening to say that he'd been using one of room irons, and had somehow burned some other type of material (plastic? Natalie, what do we do? Do you want me to call my mom? C) It's reall...

Robert and Natalie's World: November 2010
http://robertandnatalie.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 09, 2010. It's not quite Philly's Clark Park, but it's a gorgeous little bit of woods. That's pretty much the view from my bus stop every day. The other view from my bus stop. Looking out over Kinnear Park to Elliott Bay and beyond. Elliott Bay is so sparkly! Wednesday, November 03, 2010. After a lot of talking and planning and strategizing and scheming and thinking and stuff, Robert and I have come to a big decision. He is going to, for the time being, withdraw from school. Should we p...

Robert and Natalie's World: April 2010
http://robertandnatalie.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 26, 2010. Oh, the places you (probably won't) go. Part of working at the hotel involves getting 12 "comp nights" a year. Basically, this means that I get to stay at the company's hotels for free 12 nights a year. Certain restrictions and limitations apply. In July, I'll hit my year and get my 12 nights. And I am fantasizing about where to use them. I'm thinking 3 in Chicago this summer. And for the other three. NYC? We'd love to rendezvous. An enchanting part of our honeymoon. And part of t...

Robert and Natalie's World: And the lucky winner is.....
http://robertandnatalie.blogspot.com/2010/10/and-lucky-winner-is.html
Thursday, October 28, 2010. And the lucky winner is. Yep We're going to Santiago, Chile for our fabuloso free vacation. We'll be there for a grand total of 7 nights next March. We picked Santiago for a few reasons. It was pretty high on my list initially, but we were worried that it might not be very tourist-friendly after their major earthquake earlier this year. But after reading some reviews and talking to some folks from there, it looks like it'll be just fine. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Robert and Natalie's World: Stuff "Lost" has to resolve in two hours on Sunday
http://robertandnatalie.blogspot.com/2010/05/stuff-lost-has-to-resolve-in-two-hours.html
Thursday, May 20, 2010. Stuff "Lost" has to resolve in two hours on Sunday. If you are behind in Lost, or plan on watching it someday, do not read this post.* * *. Here are just some mysteries that have yet to be adequately explained in the show:. How does he time travel? How did he have premonitions about Charlie's death? How does he resist electromagnetism? How did Elouise know about his time traveling back in season 2? How does he travel from the island? Who was his mother? What was his brother's name?
