Friday, 30 January 2015. I was asked by a colleague at work to make a card for her husband's 60th birthday. As she is a golf widow, she wanted it to be gold themed. I used papers and toppers from from Hunkydory's "Its a Man's World - Just Fore You". Red and gold stardream card. We were all grateful that Barbara had not cancelled these workshops with her other half Dave not being well - especially as she had told us that she had cancelled the TV show that should have been this Sunday. Barbara also went through the techniques of colouring using Spectrum Noir pencils. We spent the first part of the morning just making samples using both matt and glossy card and also using cling film, straws, water, stencils and Perfect Pearls mist and finding out what the colours looked like when using different techniques and what the finished effects were. Saturday, 1 November 2014. This year I actually got my husband's birthday card made early - which was just as well as I do not know where the time has gone this year. I can't believe that we are 10 months through the year and it certainly has not been one of the better ones so may be it is best that it is going so fast.
