Contemporary Glass for Art and Architecture. Glass is my inspiration. I love the way it holds colour and light. The potential it has for making incredible shapes and its great strength and beauty. My artwork is very material based and glass has become the central focus to my creative practice. My initial inspirations to make art come from various sources, magic, quantum physics, metaphysics, music and nature. Fine Art Printmaking B A (hons). PG Cert Glass and Architecture. Contemporary Glass for Art and Architecture. Here are some examples of my glass art below. Till Death Us Do Part, detail below. Up cycled wine bottles copper and driftwood fashioned into “Ivy”. Beer bottles in a “Green Machine”. New Moon 36 cm diameter. This piece and following works were made using a drizzle cast glass technique. I experimented with mixtures of coloured glass melted into simple moulds. The glass made by this process is always unique. Air Spirit 40cm diameter. Planet Glitter 40cm diameter.
