https://courtney1217.wordpress.com/2014/12
When life hands me lemons, I make lemon meringue pie. It’s a Boy! December 30, 2014. As written in my last post, Dear Bunnie. The baby’s due date was Dec 17th even though I told everyone that the due date was Dec 16th. And lo and behold, his mamma was right. Our Baby Boy was born at 10pm on Dec 16th, 2 hours before he would be forced to celebrate his birthday with his mom. haha. Even under the pressures of no sleep and still recovering from her battle wounds? Filed Under: Life Journal. December 12, 2014.

Happy Breastday – Courtney Marie
https://courtney1217.wordpress.com/2014/08/13/happy-breastday
When life hands me lemons, I make lemon meringue pie. August 13, 2014. Today marks 1 year from my breast biopsy surgery. My lump was classified as a fibroademona. I had them write this down for me so I could learn about it later. (This day was already so overwhelming). They also scheduled my biopsy at yet another clinic in two weeks time. If we could all just be in one place and giving each other hugs! And three days later, we learned that my lump was benign. BE-FRIGGIN-NIGN! Thank you, God! Fill in your...

My Second Trimester – Courtney Marie
https://courtney1217.wordpress.com/2014/09/30/my-second-trimester
When life hands me lemons, I make lemon meringue pie. September 30, 2014. Today I am 29 weeks pregnant. I have been officially into my third trimester as of a couple of weeks ago. I am finally able to write and share about my second trimester. Another truth is that I know this will be a temporary exaggeration of worries. I have lost my ability to think logically and now only think and react with emotion. Those damn hormones! So how am I doing? If you want to know some simple facts now, look here. About 1...

When life hands me lemons, I make lemon meringue pie. August 6, 2014. At 21 weeks, we finally were able to see some images of our growing little baby! It was an incredible experience to see its face and body for the first time. I was emotional. Tears were forming in the corner of my eyes. Words can’t even describe it. We will be sure once I meet with my OB on Tues. I’m waving and smiling! This is my strong leg and big foot that I’ve been kicking Mommy with recently. Filed Under: Life Journal. You are com...

Simplifying – Courtney Marie
https://courtney1217.wordpress.com/2014/07/31/simplifying
When life hands me lemons, I make lemon meringue pie. July 31, 2014. I opened this month with a re-start of my blog. I would like to close this month with a few things I’ve learned. As a technical scientist, I have enjoyed pushing myself to write more creatively and with emotion. Sharing my infertility story has led me to meet some great women. I enjoy being part of a community that supports one another. Simplified the font for easier reading. A few weeks ago, I learned about the Erin Condren. On the fro...

Everything Else: April 2015
http://everythingelsebrooke.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
From Craft Projects to Conceiving Children.this is about Everything Else. Thursday, April 2, 2015. Big Fat. Positive! Sooooooo. We finally got our BFP yesterday! I'm still a little bit in shock. After three years of TTC and three rounds of IVF I'd gotten really used to dealing with the disappointments, so to finally have it go our way has kind of blown me away! I didn't take one again, although the experience made me realise that I would be in very bad shape. Two more cool things? After all ☺. Subscribe t...

Everything Else: Rediscovering the Drive In
http://everythingelsebrooke.blogspot.com/2016/03/rediscovering-drive-in.html
From Craft Projects to Conceiving Children.this is about Everything Else. Friday, March 11, 2016. Rediscovering the Drive In. Like many couples, one of the things we love to do together is watch movies. Before Atlas came along, we weren't necessarily weekly movie-goers, but we did go fairly regularly. It was one of the things we were already worried about missing out on when I was pregnant. Which my husband really wanted to see (sacrilegious, I know). So he went without me. And it was great. And got comf...
