Jess and Ben's Big Adventure. Tuesday, 24 April 2012. Australian Wildlife (or, Road Kill: A Treatise). Eagles, koalas, kangaroos and cows. A heady mix. After our night in the rainforest we headed to Byron Bay via the towns of Grafton, Casino and Lismore. Once at Byron, we spent a day at the annual Blues Festival. Slightly tired and a bit disappointed by the festival, we drove to Byron Bay for a day at the beach. One animal which wasn’t dead when it found us (or rather, Jess) was a large bull ant.
