These webpages feature sets of photographs taken in or near Birmingham from the late 1950s onwards. Most of the shots were taken between 1961 and 1966 with a Kodak Retinette 1B. Compact 35 mm camera. Except where otherwise indicated, the pre-1961 shots were taken with a pre-war folding camera using 120-size colour or monochrome roll film. The pictures have never before been published. Llandefalle is a small village 6 miles north of Brecon, and 3 miles west of Talgarth. Today, the village is no more than Llandefalle Church and a few homes. The medieval street patterns surrounding the church, and the two fields located to the south of the church suggests, the village was once bigger than it is now. There are no upcoming events.
