We're all ears!!: Thanksgiving!!
http://were-all-ears.blogspot.com/2009/11/thanksgiving.html
Monday, November 23, 2009. If there ever was a time for giving Thanks- it is now. I am thankful I have a job, that my family is happy and secure and healthy, that there have been no major issues at work, but most of all right now, I am thankful for this holiday break! It has given me time to sit back and reflect on all that I have done to fulfill my career goals. It has given me time to get things completed and given me a breather! I think being IN school has made my teaching school year go by even faster. My students are great. We have our routines down so well at this point that if I mess up, they are quick to tell me what is supposed to come next in our day. I love it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Alt Blog: The Corrections
http://rraltblog.blogspot.com/2009/11/corrections.html
Sunday, November 15, 2009. I have to admit I chose to read this book for all the wrong reasons. My friend recommended it to me as a good read and the fact that the author, Jonathan Franzen, became the only person to be taken off Oprah's. Book list. Now I'm not bashing Oprah, I confess I was hooked last week when she interviewed the lady who had her face eaten by that chimp, but I digress. The book follows a mid-western family, the Lambert's. Back story that either warms the character or totally ostracizes.
