I was very excited to see so many riders, and we had motorcycle support! I was pretty bummed that i had to miss a good ride on saturday so that i could teach class, but it was all worth it since a bunch of friends came to class and then we had a great day on the trail on sunday. we ran into amy on the trail, and made a new friend along the way! Miami Marathon, Here We Come! Saturday, September 13, 2008. You're absolutely right, I HAVE NOT been running! I am terrible. However, this week I really pushed myself to get back on track - today I ran 4 miles! It took a whopping 51 minutes, but whatever. I re-discovered the workout room in my neighborhood, and was happy to find that nobody uses it on Saturday afternoons. It was fun to run and watch all the kids play in the pool. Miami Marathon, Here We Come! Friday, May 30, 2008. I am definitely not following the plan "as scheduled". I didn't make the Sunday or Tuesday runs, but ran 4m on Wednesday and 3m this morning. I am trying to work on my speed with this round of training though and its hurting. My arches and feet in general are sore. Who would have known that those muscles would be the most out of shape. Miami Marathon, Here We Come! Monday, June 30, 2008. I think I have developed allergies! I have had a headache for about 3 weeks now, it's insane! I took last week off from running to rest up and drink lots of fluids, but it didn't actually make the headache disappear. Oh well! Miami Marathon, Here We Come! Monday, September 15, 2008. Yesterday was awesome - we slept in after going to bed early (lots of sleep! Then hopped on the bikes to go house-hunting (for Will) and ended up in the saddle for 2 hours! Granted, we weren't moving at blazing fast speeds, and we stopped every so often to check out a property, but it felt good to be moving for so long! It was great weather and my body was already sore from my run plus weight training the day before, but I really enjoyed it!
