Dogspeak is owned and run by Jonathan Lockwood. Jonathan is a member of the Institute of Animal Care and Education (IACE), where he studied animal behaviour. He has also completed training courses held by the Centre of Applied Pet Ethology (COAPE). He is experienced in training a variety of companion animals along with dogs, such as cats and houserabbits, even some reptiles. Jonathan teaches only the most humane and up to date training methods, as can be seen on the methods page.

In the first 8 weeks of your puppy's life, it will take in all sorts of new information, learning what avoid, what to look forward to and what to ignore. You can't collect your puppy from the breeder until it is around 7 weeks old, which is another reason for finding a good breeder, who should have introduced the puppies to a few novel situations already.
