In the Kitchen with Stacey. About the Blonde in the Apron. On: April 20, 2010. The other morning while enjoying my typical weekend breakfast of egg whites, hashies and bacon. A beautiful picture came through my Twitter feed. An image of absolute heaven – red velvet waffles. Unfortunately, the image didn’t include a recipe, but I made it my weekend mission to find one. I also made it my mission to purchase a waffle maker since I didn’t currently own one. 1 1/2 cups cake flour. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa.
