The first step was to make a test on paper to try and understand better how the wheel works and how the information has to be displayed. However that test was a bit of a fail, because of the material, and the organisation of the information. Since it was getting too complicated to try it on paper I decided to make a test on Illustrator and later on print it, but more about that on the next post.

Up until the last minute I was still changing details and tweaking the calendar in order to try and make the best product possible. I thought that by making a back support for the calendar would solve the problem of the rotation of the upper wheel.
