Random thoughts from my life. Friday, August 10, 2012. Time heals and time moves on and all the fierce determination in the world cannot alter that fact. "I wish we could go back, just for one day" my children say to me. I wish we could too, but I sadly know that we can't. I don't like winter, I am glad that it is almost over. But it feels like the year has lasted for ever and at the same time slipped by in the blink of an eye. I come here and I struggle with the words to explain my life.

Saturday, August 24, 2013. Had a date with my man tonight. Out to the local pub for dinner for a great steak, mmmm, them to the local hall to see a one-woman show. Quite terrific. So nice seeing a show from Warrnambool do the rounds of the smaller satellite towns. We took full advantage and made a night of it. Yes yes. Loving the Instagram. Here are some other recent offerings of the snippets of our lives. Lucky loves licking the leftover froth from my skinny chai latte, funny boy! Someone loves his mum.

Monday, June 9, 2014. Run Forrest . DNS. So I had Run Forrest. We'd gotten as far as Camperdown, half an hour away, and the minute Mike hit the brakes there was a nasty grinding groaning sound. Now my brakes have been making a bit of a sound but nothing like this. Stopped the car, took off again and it was a horrible metallic sound. Tuesday, May 6, 2014. I had my first bad blogging experience day before yesterday after all my years of blogging. My stepdaughter sent me a message to say that one of the photos from my blog was on a site on facebook that she happened to see. Huh? Since when did this become acceptable practice? I beg to differ. Excuse my ignorance but until one of my online buddies mentioned that they other day I really had o idea that there was money to be made.
