John and Franny Go to the Races. Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Nisha sent an awesome of collection of things that she picked up in India including clothes, a wall hanging, jewelry, cookies and spices! I got so excited about the spices that I basically tried to use a little bit of all them in the rice pilaf. It was pretty effective: cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and cloves. It was great with the vegetable curry I made for the second Sunday of lent (oops on that burger the week before). Pot roast with vegetables.
