I'm Working On It! Tuesday, February 24, 2009. It only comes once a year! I made a batch of my Grandmom's famous fastnachts last night! I've been making them every year since she died. I know she's smiling down on me when I make them! Now, today's task is to try and get as many as I can out of this house because "Fat Tuesday" is really ringing true for me! Monday, July 6, 2009. Yet another garden post and the 4th of July. I love my garden. It is so much more to me than growing produce, though I love it for that too. I was watching a victory garden episode on PBS and realized what a geek I had become. I just think that making something beautiful and useful out of dirt and water is very cool. Can't wait for Halloween so we can carve pumpkins! Jake meditating in the corn. He has a very active imagination. Mike, Kerry, Sam or Jake. I think it could win a prize...

So in honor of her birthay I would like to list 6 reasons why I truly LOVE having a girl:. 1) She is so fun to spend time with, we read together, paint nails, watch movies, I love it! 2) She is a girly girl, but she will still get out and play rough with the boys. 3) She is so daring and brave (she jumped off that 10 foot platform in the middle of the Boise River!
