Last Week of School! June 11, Jordan turned 100 months old! Jordan overheard someone at church saying how old their baby was so he figured out how old is in months. It happened to be just 4 days before he turned 100 months so we celebrated by taking Red Vines to school. And it works as a Cub Scout elective. Awesome. The boys woke up at about 7 am on Christmas morning, which is quite admirable. John and I actually woke up before they did. We decided to wait until 7:30 to wake up the girls. With my new job money I splurged a little and arranged for real senior photos for Emily (meaning a real photographer, not me) (sorry Tori). It was so fun! Emily is a natural with the camera and Marie really is amazing. I think maybe this is my very favorite. Yes, it was stressful getting ready for the photo shoot but they turned out great and it's because Emily is such a beautiful girl! Pretty. I really need to find that dandelion picture. 11/23) For their Young Women in Excellence night, the girls were all stars! They had pictures taken as they walked in. I'm sure they turned out better than these did, but I haven't seen them yet. A few days after Tori got home our ward's scout troop had a family portrait fundraiser. Perfect! So for my Mother's Day gift I asked for perfect family photos.meaning I could buy new stuff and everyone would be happy. Got it? I wouldn't say they turned out perfect (remember I was sickly still) but the photographers did a good job and it was nice to have someone take our family picture besides a self-timer. Youth Conference at Ensign Ranch. Since I didn't get to go to youth conference, I had to steal most of these pictures from the internets. Although John did take some too.he's good like that. So one day our neighbor came to our door and asked, "Um.how are your chickens? My son's dog somehow got loose and came home with blood on his face." "Well, actually, one of chickens is missing." End of story. I'm so glad that it just disappeared and left no evidence. It was sad enough without that extra trauma.
