During this challenge I will have OS Explorer maps I have printed off from the Ordnance Survey Getamap Service (They are free to subscribers) and also a Viewranger app on my mobile phone with 1:25000 ordnance survey (Explorer) maps. Kirkcudbright sits on the River Dee with a busy fishing harbour and farming industry. It is also known as an artists town with galleries and a museum and an artistic community.
