Sunday, August 9, 2015. Most of our summer has been low-key, hanging around the house while John Mark works on his dissertation and I continue my normal work schedule. The boys have played lots of Legos, played in the sprinklers a lot, and had several indoor battles. :). Joanne helped the boys make foil hats and swords one afternoon. Playing in the sprinkler water and puddles. He did it twice, though! Curtis getting some tips. Wesley starting out a swim from about half way. Granddad and Golly Visit.

Monday, June 15, 2015. I don't think I usually do a birthday post for myself, but this year Golly and Granddad came down to take us out to eat! It was a cute gift and the boys and I had fun putting it together. The boys also put on a "magical show" for us while Golly and Granddad were here. I laughed out loud a lot! Sunday, August 9, 2015. Water Park and VBS Day. We took a short trip to a nearby city water park during the week of VBS. They have two big slides, a water playground, a lazy river, and an actual swimming pool off to the side. The boys went down the big slides numerous times and had a lot of fun. Even with all the water, it was pretty hot and exhausting! Wesley's cool action pose? Wesley enters the water holding his nose. Curtis is the crazy one. :). And that night was day 3 of VBS! Tuesday, September 6, 2011. The Girls First Day of Preschool! Today was the first day of "school" for the girls. Hannah is so excited to be in the dinosaur class like her big brother was last year. Elizabeth is in the ladybug class this year. Hannah was so excited to go. Elizabeth kept telling me she wasn't going and then she asked me if she could take my Sonic drink to her ladybug class! I love when it gets cooler in the mornings, a little breezy, and most of all the sweaters and hot chocolate! Yes, I am a lover of the coco) We have had many fun mornings going out on the porch to find new leaves that the wind has left behind. The girls are very fascinated with the fun leaves. Sunday, August 31, 2014. Wesley's 7th Birthday Party. Today is Wesley's 7th birthday! We had his party yesterday at Peter Piper Pizza, and it was a surprise! A surprise hug from Jace. Wesley had the most stunned. Look on his face for a good while. He says he was. Finally figured it out! Curtis didn't know much ahead of. Time either, so he wouldn't spill the beans. Junk food galore: pizza and soda. After pizza, we took a game break. Each kid got some tokens to spend in the arcade. Happy Birthday to You!
