The mack daddy of gelatin silver prints. So, i didn't even know this cat exsisted until i took my photo history class. but brett weston. Is probably my new favorite photographer. His photos are absolutely sick, and i think he could print better than ansel adams. Someone brought in a phat book of his today, and it's amazing and i just may have to spend the $125 is costs to purchase the damn thing. apparently, my teacher knew him rather well and always tells funny stories of him. So, the whole I'm going to Miami for the WMC, something I've wanted to do for years, hadn't really set in until now, as I started looking at parties. Here is the tenative schedule. I hope I don't die. Yes, mother fuckers, look upon and drool and be jeleaous! She Wants Revenge, Hot Chip, The Juan Maclean, Kudu, DJ Marlboro, a special appearance by the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, plus other live acts and DJs to be announced soon. M3 2006 @ The Surfcomber, 1717 Collins Ave. Friday, 4pm - 11pm. Sunday, 2pm - 7pm.

So, i can't quit watching this. Movie trailer. it looks like it can potentially be a great, great movie. I also gotta' say, the trailer for a scanner darkly. Looks pretty great too. though, anything with the names of phillip k. dick AND richard linklater sends up warning signs. *beware of pseudo-intellectual-pretentious-crap! Though, it could possibly go either way. I've also saw night watch. Last weekend. it was so-so. no where near as good as the trailer made it look. And i watched mysterious skin.
