Our Life in Alaska: Enjoying the vibrant yellows of fall
http://gfurbish.blogspot.com/2011/09/enjoying-vibrant-yellows-of-fall.html
Our Life in Alaska. Bob the Dog May 10, 1997-December 14, 2011. Sunday, September 18, 2011. Enjoying the vibrant yellows of fall. Their deep dish pizza is worth a return. Before leaving Girdwood for home we had to make the requisite stop at the Bake Shop for their cinnamon rolls, which we have enjoyed with relish this weekend. Today is sunny with the colors at their prime. We couldn't resist logging the colors, as we do every year, they are so vibrant! Poplars standing guard at the end of the driveway.

Our Life in Alaska: More Moose Photos!
http://gfurbish.blogspot.com/2011/11/more-moose-photos.html
Our Life in Alaska. Bob the Dog May 10, 1997-December 14, 2011. Monday, November 14, 2011. The cow and baby in the photos after eating their fill from Greg's brush pile (they did not leave it in tidy order) bedded down in the snow next to the satellite dishes. Greg discovered them when he walked down to the end of the driveway to retrieve the paper this morning. Since the cow didn't seem to mind his presence once he noticed them he walked casually (? They're up from their nap. Moving off into the woods.

Our Life in Alaska: June 2011 Happenings

Our Life in Alaska. Bob the Dog May 10, 1997-December 14, 2011. Saturday, July 09, 2011. The parents came to visit. We didn't do much, but did have a good time together. The big adventure was a day trip into Anchorage. Here are a few photos during our time together:. There's a company out of Seattle, WA that's named Beecher's. They sell artisanal cheese and crackers. A must: brunch at Snow City Cafe. The "Habitat" art installation. A locally controversial, but interesting piece of art. Our Life in Alaska.

Our Life in Alaska: Recapping Recent Events

Our Life in Alaska. Bob the Dog May 10, 1997-December 14, 2011. Sunday, October 14, 2012. This is the first day that we had Quinn, playing fetch. Happy dog after a hearty game of fetch. Quinn was about to get groomed, brushed in this photo. He's such a good dog. Ready for winter! Greg widened doorways as well as installed new oak trim/crown, door frames and cherry doors in a craftsman style. Greg did all the renovations himself. This has helped tremendously with accessibility. What a good time we had!

Our Life in Alaska: Bob the Dog and Christmas 2011
http://gfurbish.blogspot.com/2011/12/bob-dog-and-christmas-2011.html
Our Life in Alaska. Bob the Dog May 10, 1997-December 14, 2011. Saturday, December 24, 2011. Bob the Dog and Christmas 2011. This years Christmas post is tinged with great sadness. We lost our beloved bob the dog on Dec 14 to very old age. We miss him terribly, but he will always be in our hearts. Kitty is trying her best to fill the void and is enjoying the now exclusive attention. But, it's Christmas Eve and it could not be more Christmassy outside! Can you see the lighted tree in the window? Amy and K...
