Whenever there is a warm day the kids pull out the little kiddie pool and fill it up with freezing water. I'm always amazed that they actually get in. crazy kids! Had a crazy hair day today! 9:18 PM Edit This. SATURDAY WE HAD A EASTER HUNT @ THE HOUSE WITH THE CHILDS! I THINK EVERYONE HAD A LITTLE TOO MUCH SUGAR:). THE EASTER BUNNY BROUGHT CAEDENCE A NEW SUN HAT, TOY, AND EASTER DRESS! SHE LOVED THE HAT. I WENT INTO ASPEN'S ROOM TO SEE WHAT ALL THE NOISE WAS ABOUT. THEY HAD THE RADIO BLASTING, JUMPING ON THE BED. I COULDNT RESIST TAKING PICTURES, THEYARE MY PRETTY PRINCESSES! Our first week in the NC. The drive out here was long! Im just glad that my little jam packed honda civic made it! Some of the scenery on the way to the big NC. One of the many big bridges we drove on! I couldn't believe how big the arch was! Tennessee on was beautiful! We have slowly been collecting furnature for our apartment. At first we only had an air mattress to sleep on. But thanks to some friends out here we now have a dining room table with chairs to eat on, and a futon to sit on!

In North Carolina you can't see a whole lot. Basically the road in front of you and the trees on the sides of you. I never thought that the mountains would be anything special to me, but being here makes me miss the mountains SO much! 1st annual Mission Matthews hot dog eating contest! When the five minutes were up Karl had won the contest with 11 hot dogs! Tanner took 2nd place with 5 hot dogs. Its been about a month now. We are finally all settled in. The days go by super slow. and the weekends go too fast! Since I have had nothing to do during the day I have become very good friends with the pool :). Some of our friends that are out here. I wouldn't be able to make it without them :). I would go crazy if Lindsey wasn't here to keep me sane for the second half of the day. We are big fans of Steak and Shake Shakes. I may be getting fat. but at least i'll be happy!
