A Tall Tale of A Life Well Lived: October 2011
http://alexghackett.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
A Tall Tale of A Life Well Lived. Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Friday, October 7, 2011. Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi. Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love;. Where there is injury, pardon;. Where there is doubt, faith;. Where there is despair, hope;. Where there is darkness, light;. And where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek. To be consoled as to console;. To be understood as to understand;. To be loved as to love.

A Tall Tale of A Life Well Lived: June 2011
http://alexghackett.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
A Tall Tale of A Life Well Lived. Saturday, June 25, 2011. A Pilgrim's Progress and Other Musings. Check out the song above if you dare. Another older band but mainly just one song instead of a whole album is "Louder than the Mob" by The O.C. Supertones another favorite when i was younger. it's just one of those songs that speaks about our sin but just in a unique way and how great our God is and how forgiving He is even when we shouldn't deserve it. Here are the lyrics:. My God, what do You see in me?

A Tall Tale of A Life Well Lived. Wednesday, May 22, 2013. How bout an update on life. Moved to Sun Valley, Idaho to be a ski bum for this past winter. It was a good experience, plain and simple. Learned to ski. Experienced good times with friends. Surrounded myself with winter beauty. Met new and wonderful people. A success. Road tripped down through Utah and Arizona with Evan to visit some friends and experience some awesome nature! At this very moment, I am spending my summer back in good ol' Nampa, I...

A Tall Tale of A Life Well Lived. Friday, April 22, 2011. Great words from Watashi Wa/the big silence/observations of the Word. Great words from Watashi Wa:. Held down, completely, blindfolds of pride are in the way." - Simple Road Less Traveled. God's faithful, in everything, don't fear to dream." - Here's to Tomorrow. A Tall Tale of A Life Well Lived: Day 16: 30 days of thanks
http://alexghackett.blogspot.com/2012/11/day-16-30-days-of-thanks.html
A Tall Tale of A Life Well Lived. Sunday, November 18, 2012. Day 16: 30 days of thanks. Today I am thankful for providence. I spent most of the day calling people about houses to rent and most laughed at me. I am thankful for the two that I saw and one that seems perfect and it is our price point and is furnished and has enough beds for all four of us . I am thankful for the Spirit going ahead of me. A Tall Tale of A Life Well Lived: January 2014
http://alexghackett.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
A Tall Tale of A Life Well Lived. Saturday, January 18, 2014. Past Me and Present Me. My present me laughs in ridiculousness at my past me, but my past me is dumbfounded and in a state of disbelief of present me and now thinking how my present me will become a past me and then a new present me will be different in some fashion. Now I'm talking like you're watching some Sci-Fi time travel movie, basically I am Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Past Me say hello to Present Me and Present Me wish good luck to Future You.

joy: The Fear
http://bethanyjhardy.blogspot.com/2010/04/fear.html
Monday, April 19, 2010. My pastor, Nate. Was speaking this past Sunday about the 'fear of God' vs. the' fear of man'. Using King Saul and King David as examples of these kinds of fear. Saul was feared the people he was leading instead of the Lord who put him there. David feared the Lord who created the world and not the giant, Goliath. It was a message for me. I have been thinking about my fears in life, and God provided this message at the right time. Do things for them and spent every minute with them.

joy: December 2008
http://bethanyjhardy.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 7, 2008. Http:/ abcnews.go.com/Video/. You have to go here for the video.). I love the faith of this guy (Craig Gross) and his family! Patrick and I have a few of his books and we have the Bible that says "Jesus loves porn stars". I think that what he is doing is what Jesus wants us to be doing here in this world. We need to love those who are uncomfortable for us to love.'the sick'. That is who Jesus came for.we all need Him. Thats right, the ones with the Hershey kiss on top. YUM!

joy: happy father's day!
http://bethanyjhardy.blogspot.com/2010/06/happy-fathers-day.html
Sunday, June 20, 2010. This is a post to recognize how wonderful my husband is. Patrick is a patient, thoughtful, loyal and loving man. Despite the lack of a real father in his life, God has given him insight and understanding to how precious and wonderful being a father can be. Patrick, thank you so much for being my wonderful husband, and the best dad our kids could ask for. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
