Josie's time at the beach. Good news from Matt today! Josie is doing very well on the low dose of steroids and has been feeling pretty good! Here's a great picture of two beautiful sisters. Today, all of the families and kids (including Josie) got together at Bop and Gigi's house for some playtime and gourmet hot dogs! Here is a picture of Josie taken yesterday as she peacefully paints seashells. Peaceful and enjoying things with her family is a wonderful thing. Love and prayers flow to you Josie and to all of your family. She is so precious. Praying and thinking of you all. Continued love and prayers to your family and to you, Josie girl. Pasta night.looks like a yummy good time! I got a nice email today from Alissa with some photos and an update. Josie is doing so well! As the pics show we've been having some good times! The Millers invited us over for a pasta making party. Messy but fun with all the cousins digging in and creating pasta. Flour was everywhere! The kids are very excited to be going to the beach at OC, NJ for Easter. Then, off to Jamaica the following week! Happy Easter and Spring to all! Thanks for the update Alissa!

One day at a time. Josie woke up today with a fever and a cough, which is a concern. We're not sure exactly why, but everyone is watching these things closely. The hospice team came today and inserted a feeding tube into Josie's nose. There were some complications with the procedure but Josie got through it. She is tired tonight and hopefully will rest well. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! Prayers for comfort, peace, and daily strength to continue the fight as a family. Not too much has changed. Thank you all for following the blog. I know many of you may check for updates daily, maybe even hourly. The fact that you hold Josie so dear to your heart and are concerned about her is a great blessing to all of us. Matt and Alissa are by her side. Josh and Sam have been having great days at MCDS and with family. They are being kept busy and happy and all are so well loved.
