昼過ぎ 成田発台北行(China Airline)搭乗 夕刻、桃園国際空港到着。 この日は、翌日のJakarta行きに乗り継ぐため、台北にて一泊する。 空港から外に出た瞬間にじわっと額に汗が浮かぶ。あ・・・暑い・・・。 中山駅近くの安めのビジネスホテルにcheck-in。その後、街の散策に出かける。 台北に来たなら、やっぱり最初に見たいのは世界一の高さを誇る TAIPEI 101. を乗り継ぎ、市政府駅下車、無料シャトルバスで直行する。 写真ではよく分からないが、結構広めでゆとりがある。だいたいWashington, D.C.の地下鉄と同程度か。広々しているのであまりごみごみした印象は受けない。 道幅を考えると難しいかもしれないが、日本もこれぐらいの広さのプラットフォームがあればいいのに、と思う。ちなみに改札、車両ともバンコクの地下鉄と同様だった。(時期的に考えると、バンコク地下鉄が台湾のスタイルを導入したんだろう。).
