Sunday, October 7, 2007. We finally got around to creating a blog. J and I will share this one, which could be fun because she's going to have all kinds of cute things and artsy stuff and I'm probably going to be more techie (J would say geeky) about things. :). One quick note on names: I guess I'm a bit of a privacy nut so we decided not to use actual names. The folks who we share this blog with will know who we are anyway. Journey to Jasey: April 2008

http://journeytojasey.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html

Our adventures in adopting our baby girl from Vietnam. Saturday, April 26, 2008. There is no other word to explain how I feel right now other than devastated. Exhausted would be a close second. I have tried to stay positive during all the ups and down of the past 8 months of this journey, but the past two days everything has come crashing down. First came THIS. Article from the AP. Then THIS. From the embassy. Both are terrible news about corruption in the VN. All I can do is believe right?

Our adventures in adopting our baby girl from Vietnam. Monday, October 29, 2007. We had a big bump in the road last month with a problem obtaining our Immigration approval. I had to scramble to get some documents from Virginia, and Jason had to do another interview with our home study agency. I am so happy to say that the home study social worker called this morning to tell us our addendum is complete! I am going to pick it up in a couple of hours and drive it straight over to USCIS. Please tell me Jasey.

He is 11 months old now, it has taken us this long to get all of his paperwork done so he could avoid quarantine once he got to Hawaii. Journey to Jasey: September 2007

http://journeytojasey.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html

Our adventures in adopting our baby girl from Vietnam. Sunday, September 30, 2007. We are having a lazy Sunday, so I figured I could use this time to answer the most common questions that Jason and I have gotten since we started announcing our plan to adopt. Why can't you get pregnant? Since Jason and I met, we have always talked about someday adopting children. We think it will be a privilege. To be able to open up our hearts and home to a baby that is in need of loving parents. How do you start a blog?

Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. Loosing yourself in a fallen world is not the least bit fun once you have realized you truly are lost. Not knowing how you got to be in the place your standing is disorientating and disheartening. Especially if you have been found or discovered by God and yourself and have walked in that confidence and esteem previously. When Sandy died in my house (see previous blog), what I saw in that was myself. I was able to give her a safe place to pass away and sh...

Journey of a Dog

Thursday, August 25, 2011. Right where she wanted to be all along. Right where she belongs. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. The last week I've been working with Jane on her recall in the backyard off-leash. She'll just be minding her own business, sniffing out crickets or resting in the shade. I'll raise my arm up, say Jane, come! Coupled with a hand gesture and she'll go off and find something to do. A neighbor appears within sight as they hang out on a deck. Thats huge for Jane! Journey of a Dreamer - Finding Joy In the Journey

Journey of a Dreamer. Finding Joy In the Journey. Before & After Pics. It’s just mine. April 25, 2017. April 25, 2017. Just over month ago I turned 30. I had so many plans and dreams and expectations about what 30 would look like. I wasn’t one of those people who dreaded it. I expected to leave the struggles and uncertainty of my twenties behind me and embrace a new decade as a more powerful and confident version of myself. I wasn’t exactly wrong… but I wasn’t exactly right. Ah, yes. There it is. I&#8217...

Journey Of A Dreamer. Belated B’Day Party (And dinner’s re-view… literally). Took an old friend out for dinner at a Steamboat place called Spicy Girl on Sunday. Nice food but ironic name… (considering that one of their branches has only old men for waiters). Oh, well, it was an adventure, however brief. I should go on those rides again but just to be safe, I’d better make sure I’m not too stuffed. Filed in My Life. Three Weddings In One Month.
