Tuesday, May 5, 2015. One Year Ago. Celebrating Gotcha Day. Some of the things Chloe has learned this year. To dress herself, and use the potty alone. That Daddy is cooler than Mommy. That siblings are awesome. Birthdays are the best. There is no love like a family! We celebrated the anniversary of gotcha day yesterday by visiting our local zoo. Friday, April 25, 2014. This last week has been very difficult for our youngest. With the joy of receiving approval to travel, came the realization that Mommy and Daddy would be leaving. For two weeks. Without her. She has struggled at bedtime for the past few weeks but over the past week it has been horrible. Sleep is hard fought, and never lasts through the night. Tonight, she allowed me to go deeper. She said phrases such as "But I only have two more sleeps with you", "You will be gone for 16 days!

Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Sean and I are celebrating 14 years of marriage today. 14 years! As I sit and reflect on all that has happened in 14 years, I am amazed what we have accomplished. And what would I have thought had I known then what I know now? One thing is for sure, I was blessed with a man that walks through all these joys and trials beside me. We took two coffee filters and watercolored on them. Really they were just seeing how watercolors flow with water. The colors were so beautiful!
