Friday, November 28, 2008. Jacob has been in the US for 9 weeks now. He celebrated his first Thanksgiving yesterday. He loves mashed potatoes. His preschool teacher sent a note home with him on Wednesday letting us know that they had their own Thanksgiving feast and that he sat there feeding his face for 50 minutes. No surprise there. Monday, June 30, 2008. June update on Jacob. Apparently our son has been gaining some weight. Here is the update from his Foster Home. Jacob did have some challenges in the beginning of his life as he just didn't gain weight as fast as other kids his age due to his cleft. That doesn't seem to be a problem any longer. haha Wouldn't you say he looks like he is getting generous portions of food? I can't wait to squeeze those cheeks. Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Loving Annaka

This is journey to adopt our daughter, Annaka from China. She was placed in our arms on January 28th, 2007. Friday, September 11, 2009. Annaka meets her teachers. Went to meet her teacher on Wednesday evening. Miss Tena. And Miss Sara are their names. Annaka. Did really good, of course she found all the cows and horses and played with the doll house (or should we call it a animal. Starts school on Monday and is very very excited!
