Sunday, May 11, 2008. Happy, Happy Mother's Day to my Mom, Mother in Law, Sisters and Sister in Law! Also, a special Happy Mother's Day to all those soon to be moms who are waiting to bring their little ones home. I know the pain you are feeling on this day. Every year that passed without a child, I wondered if we would ever have a family of our own. This is my first Mothers Day and as I was rocking Christopher to sleep last night, I was overcome with my love for him. We are truly blessed with him.

He has 3 of them incase we lose one. They are Ty Beanie Bears that I have only been able to find on E*ay. He has always bitten the bear's nose and we have finally had to empty them of all their beads and restuff them. The very first thing he says to me in the morning now is, "Mommy, I want Thomas! If there's one thing I'm learning in my journey as a follower of Jesus Christ, it's the need for consistency. Over the last week, I have seen my focus drift and my consistency wane. I've been amazed at how quickly my heart cools when I don't continually stoke the fires of my heart with time alone with God. Day five of the Pilgrim’s Guide took me to John 15:1-11. Think about what Paul says in Galatians 2:20.
