Friday, April 29, 2011. We are officially waiting for Travel Approval (TA)! Our Article 5 was delivered to the. Chinese Center for Adoption Affairs (CCAA). In Beijing on 4/27. About a week ahead of schedule! The Article 5 is the US Consulate in Guangzhou. Pre-approving Benjamin for an immigrant Visa. Now the CCAA can. TAs are typically received in apprx. 2-3 weeks. For those keeping track, we're day 2 in our wait! Once we receive TA, our agency will. Begin making travel arrangements. EB is so practical!

Monday, July 4, 2011. Day 18: The long trip home. As promised, I'm posting the details about our trip home. It was long. Very, very, very long. It started with the bellhop picking up our bags at 5:15 am and then meeting our guide, John, and the Slone family at 5:30 am in the lobby! Our flight to Shanghai departed at 9:00 am. Monday, January 31, 2011. We received our 3 month update from the Orphanage today! Eriously, could he be any cuter? We are soooo in love! LOVE the cheeks and his hair how grown out so much! He is such a stinkin' cutie! The Orphanage report states:. He can read book on his own. He can tell different animals and characters in the book. He can run and skip. He has 2-3 vocabulary of words. I love the Chinese and English saying on the wall:. Experience success be self-confident". He is 2 years and 4 months old.

Saturday, June 25, 2011. Day 14: More shopping, swimming and dinner with friends! Another free day today! We started the day sleeping in until 7:30 am, skyping the kiddos, breakfast, and some island shopping. The plan was to meet our guide, John, and the other FTIA families at 2:30 pm for some shopping off the island.pearl/jade, pet and medicine markets. The island was packed (since it was Saturday) with locals and photo shoots everywhere! Much better than the socks with Stride Rites we brought from home!
