We have now officailly moved into our house, it took us a long time until we got to a point where we felt that it was futile to clean any longer as it was not going to get any cleaner. We are going to the market tomorrow to learn how to buy vegetables and what exactly they are/do with them, could be challenging. I find the thai way of life very peculiar. Julie-Ann McGarrell's Year In Thailand. June 14, 2010, 12:28 pm. The 2nd April was the beggining of something wonderful….my love of Koh Samet. It was the last destination on Kerrys trip and the one she had been longing for, the sun, sea and sand. Our first stop was for roti’s which are an amazing thai dessert. Its some form of dough, which is spread out into a thin sheet, put eggs or banana on top and fry. However best bit is definitely the condensed milk on the top, yum! Julie-Ann, Moto, Maak and Kerry.

Julie-Ann McGarrell's Year In Thailand. October 2, 2010, 12:05 am. Everybody who worked on Koh Tao spoke good English, and the vast majority of the tourist were clearly well off and spoke with posh English accents, we felt a bit out of place. Food was expensive, drinks were expensive and even 7/11 was more expensive. We came to the conclusion that there isn’t actually much to see here, not even a waterfall, which I was very disappointed to hear. Me with the Koh Tao Turtle (Tao means Turtle in Thai).

Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Revisiting my 30 before 30 list. First of all, what happened to my 20's? I can't believe in less than 2 months, I'll be officially part of the 30's club. Remember. 1 Sew myself an item of clothing. Need to dust off my sewing machine first. Start a new blog. No point to this. I can barely keep up with this one! 3 Swim with dolphins - Not by 30. Have this on the agenda for our Hawaii trip in January! One check mark for the list! Go on a cruise. 7 Go zip-lining - Maybe in Hawaii.
