I told you before how excited I was to get my jury summons. Well, I called in on Friday, November 14 after 5:00, and out of 17 groups, only two groups were called to report to the courthouse on Monday morning. You guessed it–I was one of them. She seemed completely unphased by it. I had asked her if she was worried and she just said that she had lived a very eventful, full happy life and if it was her time to go then it was her time. She said there was nothing she could do about it so why worry? Our plan is to continue to live life to its fullest–just as she has been. If the cancer does come back, we will deal with it then.
