I know its been awhile since i’ve written about my internship. i guess i was trying to be as discreet as possible, and also i didn’t have much to say – i do what all fashion interns do, to some degree. it has been incredibly rewarding and i’ll be sad when it ends, but i have learned so much. Sunday, June 5, 2011. THE SPAIN DIARIES: Day 6,7,8,9. After the Cathedral, we went to the Royal Palace where we saw the most beautiful gardens and mosaic I have ever seen. THE SPAIN DIARIES: Day 6,7,8,9. This weekend I think I was in the Garden of Eden. but more on that later. It has been a crazy five days and because of that I have had little time to write. Saturday, July 2, 2011. PREPARATION: STARS AND STRIPES. I have always been a big fan of holidays. Growing up, my parents made an especially big deal about the 4th of July as my neighborhood used to host an annual parade for the kids. Decorating my bike and eating snow cones were always two major highlights of my childhood summers. Even though I am too old to march in the child's parade, I have decided to show my patriotism in other ways this year. Who says that red, white, and blue is just for kids?
