We have been filling up buckets from water trucks and flushing toilets to the best of our ability. No laundry has been done, and cooking is near impossible. But, I am happy to report, that as of 4 am this morning, the water has returned. How do I know is was 4am? Wally heard the banging of the pipes as the water entered them. Our Next Great Adventure. Friday, August 14, 2009. Our water has returned! It is so nice to have water back, a fews days without and no dishwasher means a huge stack of dishes! Our drain has this really neat basket that catches food. It can be removed and emptied into the trash. I love it! I want one in my Umatilla kitchen. I have my excuses ready though! It turns out that my husband and I are expecting a little otaku in December! Well, I know the baby's going to be an otaku, but my husband's convinced the baby will be normal like him. To that I say, "Ha! He underestimates the power of anime and manga!
