http://juliesnicaragua.blogspot.com/2008/10/letter-to-eunju-kang-young-in-nyc.html
Thursday, October 23, 2008. Letter to Eunju Kang, a friend and the gifted artist in NYC; October 22, 2008. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. I am afraid I am not doing anything extraordinary in Nicaragua, except what God has put in my heart to do, and all I do is just follow His voice and commands. He has proven to me that He really is the Big Boss, and we are all better off obeying and trusting in Him. God bless you and your lovely family. Luke is simply gorgeous! Is half the game.
Julie's Nicaragua Mission: English Lesson + Vacation Bible Study in One

Sunday, December 14, 2008. English Lesson Vacation Bible Study in One. Having a 15-year old Johnny and 7-year old Amilcar who both have strong spirits and boisterous disposition didn't help, so on the second day, I continued to hand pick on Johnny to be the class leader and I politely had to ask Amilcar to go over to the church and help the men lay the brick floor instead. Don't get me wrong; I love Amilcar. Julie - Nicaragua Mission. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Julie - Nicaragua Mission.
Julie's Nicaragua Mission: Ojo de Agua Well - We are to start the project but not to finish
http://juliesnicaragua.blogspot.com/2008/12/ojo-de-agua-well-we-are-to-start.html
Saturday, December 13, 2008. Ojo de Agua Well - We are to start the project but not to finish. 160;Well, these two did. In four days, with the help of a few children who carried rocks and dirts to fill the gap, we completed the first stage of the well improvement. The rest would have to be carried out by Nica volunteers and the villagers, who hopefully learned about 'serving' from the example of my three teammates. You are blessed, guys! Julie's Nicaragua Mission: God is the God of Smallest Details
http://juliesnicaragua.blogspot.com/2010/04/god-is-god-of-smallest-details.html
Friday, April 16, 2010. God is the God of Smallest Details. In short, I believed that God wanted me to go to Nicaragua in comfort and style. Indeed I concluded that. He really is God of incredible details! And of humor and creativity! I had a sea bass dinner and two apple juice instead of a small peanut bag and coke, and I smiled all the way to Managua. These three months in Nicaragua are going to be awesome experience, and I hope to achieve/complete as much work to please God and glorify his name. Alex ...

When I feel the need to bring things up to date, sometimes adapting the original vintage patterns. I also design my own patterns so you can make lovely items too. Thursday, 2 July 2015. 1944 style Round Cushion. Long story, but many of you will probably recognise the design. I have revamped the cushion. I took this cushion and the other two cushions to other fairs but quite honestly they were WRONG! The cushions not the fairs. After making a special order for a friend. Pale green or pink? JULIE STAFFORD'S NEW YORK
JULIE STAFFORD'S NEW YORK. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. IT’S THE THANKSGIVING SEASON IN NEW YORK─(ONCE UPON A DECEMBER). It is November 23. In New York. I completely forgot it was Thanksgiving Day in just two days time when I went to Wholefoods Organic Store to grab some brown rice sushi, organic fat-free yoghurt, and a container of organic strawberries, blueberries and raspberries for my dinner. I was the only person in the store without a turkey in my trolley! 8221; I heard, “I’m gonna be ...I smiled ...

Julie Snidle - Inner Visions
Julie Snidle - Inner Visions. Monday, June 2, 2014. Enjoying Linda Robertson's Encaustikos Kit and its collaboration with StencilGirl Products. I was recently invited to experiment with Encaustikos' newest encaustic kit put together by Linda Robertson. I am so impressed with this high quality kit! So here is my demo:. Before I prime my panel, I cover the edges with painter's tape. When my piece is finished, I peel off the paint to reveal a nice clean edge. Slowly remove the stencil and voila! Did I menti...
Julie Snidle - Home
I am a St. Louis artist with a studio in Lafayette Square. My private studio space doubles as a comfortable and safely equipped classroom where I share my passion and knowledge of painting with encaustic (beeswax and tree resin) to anyone interested in this ancient art medium. Painting, primarily with encaustic, has been my driving force since 2004. More recently I have been approaching my work with oil and cold wax medium. During the cooler months, I offer ' Open Studio Time. Proudly powered by Weebly.

Friday, June 19, 2009. Props for My Boy, Josh. Is an article written about the children's garden my cousin, Josh, manages. I am insanely proud of his accomplishments, and I especially like the bit about being "slightly grubby and obscenely cheerful.". Posted by Julie at 8:57 AM. Thursday, May 21, 2009.
