Skip to main content. Where To See My Work. Julie Vernon is an award winning mosaic artist working with a mix of materials from vitreous glass and ceramic through to natural marble and slate. Materials are skilfully cut and shaped by hand which in turn makes each design unique and a one off. As well as exhibiting and selling work she also undertakes public and private commissions and is involved in a wide range of community arts projects. As featured on . BBC East Midlands Today.

Favorite recipes and more…. 1 1/2 teas salt. 1 1/2 teas baking powder. 1 stick cold butter. Sift the dry ingredients together really well. Cut the butter into the dry ingredients with a pastry blade. Stir the water, buttermilk and egg together then combine wet and dry with a fork – barely. Don’t over knead. Bake @ 425 for 10-12 minutes. Serve warm with butter and jam or honey. 3/4 cup warm water. 1 cup good red wine. 1 Tablespoon lemon juice. One pound cake cut into cubes. Lisa’s Chocolate Brownie Cake.
