Cole, Tiffany, Jaxon, and Grant. Friday, February 18, 2011. The guys had today off of school so we all went to breakfast in Beacon Hill at the Paramount. It has been a very cold winter, but today the temperature jumped to 60 degrees - so after breakfast we walked over to the Boston Public Gardens and saw the bronze statue ducks in the park that come from the children's book "Make Way for Ducklings." Cole, Tiffany, Jaxon, and Grant. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. We had a nice Thanksgiving here in Boston with our good friends the Sorenson's. It was such a fun day filled with great company and amazing food. Here are the boys carving the turkey. Scott and Michelle made the yummy turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, and pie. We ate around 3:00pm while Jaxon and Grant were sleeping. It was so nice to be able to really enjoy our feast. Monday, November 15, 2010. Cole's friends came to cheer him on.

Cole, Tiffany, Jaxon, and Grant. Sunday, April 24, 2011. Easter morning the boys had fun going through their baskets and then finding hidden eggs around the house. Jaxon was excited to get a few trains he had helped pick out a couple weeks before. He had been counting down the days until the Easter bunny would bring them. Grant was mostly just excited to eat his peeps - I was so happy to see that someone else in the family besides me loves them! Peeps are my all time favorite treat! It was all so yummy!

Cole, Tiffany, Jaxon, and Grant. Tuesday, January 25, 2011. It has been so much fun watching Jaxon and Grant play together lately. They have become great friends. Grant loves to cuddle which is something Jaxon has never done unless sick or very tired. On occasion he will let Grant cuddle up to him. They love to wrestle. Saturday, January 15, 2011. We took Jaxon skiing today for his first time. He did really well and had a lot of fun. Here he is with Mimi Nakker getting ready to go. Cousins Ruby and Chase.

Cole, Tiffany, Jaxon, and Grant. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. This morning we took a tour of Fenway Park. It was fun to walk through the empty stadium and learn the history of the ballpark and team. It has been fun living so close to Fenway. We have loved going to Red Sox games. This red seat marks the longest home run ever hit at Fenway, hit by Ted Williams in 1946. The seat was painted red to commemorate Williams' titanic blast. What a great idea! August 30, 2011 at 9:23 PM. Things We Will Miss.

Cole, Tiffany, Jaxon, and Grant. Sunday, June 12, 2011. Things We Will Miss. It makes me really sad to think we will be leaving Boston soon. I have loved living here – the history, the scenery, the social scene, and most of all the people. I will forever cherish my memories of this great city. I am going to miss it. Faneuil Hall with the Harrison's and Sorenson's. Bartley's Burgers - our favorite burger joint. Grant, Me, Maike, Michelle, and Kristin. Suzy and Ben Brinded. Jaxon's cutest preschool teacher.

Afterward we took Jaxon on his first ride on the Alpine slide. Here are the boys being boys. Monday, July 4, 2011. Happy 4th of July.
