13 days out and going back. When I woke up the next morning I did not want to go. I stubbornly left the bunkhouse. I wasn’t ready for the day. I wanted to stay there and keep learning all of the secrets of that place. It’s not my place to stay and so I trudged on into the day. Thanks for reading this. 1096 miles and counting. Her phone call was to the point. “Kimchi? It’s storybook. Where are you? When are you starting? The weather was beautiful. The Chatahoochie Forest smelled beautiful. I followed Storybook’s happily bouncing backpack into the trees, onto the trail and into Georgia. I’ll try to get up early before we leave to at least update the week.
