Jan Sugar-free: January 2012
http://jansugarfree.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
My journey in switching over to a sugar-free lifestyle. Thursday, January 19, 2012. Today I'm looking for beef bones. Ones to make broth with. Grass fed beef. Mmm.hmmm. Expensive! I'm looking at prices to see if this is even feasible with my family. I know the argument that investing now in your health will prevent high costs later, but that same argument can be used for a lot of things. Buy good quality now so you won't have to buy it again for 10 years instead of 1-2 years for cheap. Well, guess what?

Jan Sugar-free: Sugar is Toxic- on 60-Minutes!
http://jansugarfree.blogspot.com/2012/04/sugar-is-toxic-on-60-minutes.html
My journey in switching over to a sugar-free lifestyle. Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Sugar is Toxic- on 60-Minutes! And it hit me! A month or so ago I came across the BEST YouTube clip! It was an hour and a half lecture given by Dr. Lustig, a UCSF (University of California San Francisco) pediatric endocrinologist, about how sugar is toxic. I told my friend about it, because she is a dietitian, and I wanted her thoughts on it. Watch "Is Sugar Toxic" on 60-minutes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Thank...

Jan Sugar-free: July 2013
http://jansugarfree.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
My journey in switching over to a sugar-free lifestyle. Tuesday, July 16, 2013. GBS Residual Effects- Who Knew? Could the Guillaine-Barre Syndrome (GBS) be coming back? He was a nice guy, though. Very thorough on the details as he took my history over the last year, and asking questions about my family's history of Charcot-Marie-Tooth Syndrome (a neurological disorder that runs on my dad's side of the family, that I don't have). The best news ever! Articles I found show that it's not the muscles that get...

All About Evey: A Story Of Me and My Perspective on Falling in Love With Antonio
http://allaboutevey.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-story-of-me-and-my-perspective-on.html
Thursday, March 12, 2015. A Story Of Me and My Perspective on Falling in Love With Antonio. Once upon a time, I met a guy. Writing this stuff down is difficult. I'm speaking from hindsight. I'm speaking from the perspective of having found a good man. Last summer, I didn't have hindsight or or foresight. I had sadness and hopelessness. I had this little ache inside of me. As painful as it was, I still wanted to try. Tinder was the easiest way to try. But I decided that I needed to both broaden an...I nee...

All About Evey: April 2015
http://allaboutevey.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. Nick is home from Scotland! He was there working for the Scottish Parliament. Last night, we gathered in Tremonton to enjoy a beautiful roast as a family. Jayson couldn't make it because he is treating his employees to a trip to Vegas, but the rest of us gathered around the kitchen table we ate at as kids and welcomed Antonio and Daniel to the family. My mom put out the good china and we ate delicious food and shared stories. It was so much fun to see the boys play together! I've ...

All About Evey: The Stranger in the Flowerbed
http://allaboutevey.blogspot.com/2014/04/the-stranger-in-flowerbed.html
Wednesday, April 2, 2014. The Stranger in the Flowerbed. I saw this shape pass in front of my office window. I hurried over to the door and yelled down the street. "Hey! Don't walk in the flower beds. Use the sidewalk please! He started towards me with this familiar smile. I cut him off with a polite thank you before he could start a conversation and shut the door. Two hours later, the rain started to fall. He came blustering into my office. He asked, "Where's the music you usually have going? I just sta...
