Thursday, December 15, 2011. It Takes Two, Make Three. Our son Van William Peterson was born December 7th, 2011 at 11:15 pm. He was 7lbs 5 oz and is incredibly beautiful! Labor isn't very easy. I figured it wouldn't be but it is a completely different story when the process starts and you think to yourself, "Self, let's do this tomorrow, when I expect it, and maybe then I will be ready." Tuesday, June 5, 2012. It Takes Two Makes It to Two Years! 2 years ago today Rod and I were sealed for all eternity in the St George Temple. In that time we. Lived in a sick apartment for a little over a month. Worked on the house" (This is still going on and will be a forever project). Found out the school we both worked for was closing, so we both got second jobs at different schools, and found out we were pregnant simultaneously. Worked and worked and worked. Moved into the upstairs of our house.

Wednesday, October 24, 2012. The first 3 pictures were taken at Dustin's wedding back in August. Well, the first 2 are at the restaurant afterwards where Van rehydrated. He loves cups! He is now 10 1/2 months old. Time is flying! We just got back from a trip to California. We had a good time and packed a ton into a short 3 days. Sunday, August 19, 2012. Van is closer to being 9 months now than 8 months but I have been busy (maybe more lazy) and have not gotten to these pictures. He has now rode behind a 3 wheeler. He has 2 teeth. He crawls like crazy (the higher he pumps his arms the faster he goes! He loves all food, anything he can get his hands on. He can say mama and babbles all the time. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Van turned one month old! According to the doctor he weighs 7lbs 12 oz and is almost 22 inches! What a tiny little squirt! I think all that has grown is his hands and feet! He eats most of the time and when he is not eating he is crying. He likes his chin to be tickled. Rod and I love the moments when he is awake and quiet. He is very aware and watches you and tracks your voice. He is starting to make sweet cooing noises.when he feels like being nice. He is spoiled rotten!

Saturday, October 22, 2011. So fresh and so clean. You can see the darker color on the roof trim of the house and you can see the original color where Rod is covering it up. It is going to be gorgeous! We had our puppies groomed! They look so cute. They are getting along so much better now. Scully had Cash on the run all this morning. I have never seen Scully run so much! She likes having Cash around. She always has to be by him though, just to make sure he is not receiving any attention she deserves.

Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Van turned 5 months old on my dad's birthday! Van is growing up! He know loves peas, green beans, squash, and sweet potatoes mixed into his rice cereal. So far he has cried each time I gave him carrots. He can do the mini-push up! He can roll over to his belly! He loves to babble on and on and on. He loves music and loves when you sing to him.I might turn up the radio loud when he is crying in the car, then I sing obnoxiously along and he goes to sleep. But she loves cuddling :).

Saturday, February 25, 2012. Van used to be so little.in fact he is still little but it is so weird to me to look back at pictures and see how tiny he was. Here he is at a month old. He was so tiny in his bed! This photo reminds me of ET. Here is my beautiful boy nowadays. He has so much more personality while awake but there really is something about a sleeping baby that is so heart-melting you have to take a picture. I love his pouty lips! Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Thursday, March 8, 2012. Van is 3 months old! He laughed for the first time! He grabbed at a toy and was almost sincerely interested in a book (he mostly wanted to eat it). He is getting a little chubby but only in his face. We think he is double jointed, his arms make us nervous. He pushes his weight up, what a strong little man!
