A little less force on the head banging Mommy! Of course Leighton had to put her face in it as well. And even Colter joined in on the fun! In case you haven't noticed, Coltie sure is growing up. But he still likes me to feed him his bottle! Ya, but he likes it better when I give him the good stuff. And then we went to the zoo.

Just how we like it. Wednesday, May 1, 2013. The Great Adventure, Part 2! Leighton and I decided we were getting a little sick of Colter getting all the attention. So we got online and booked a camping trip. Every night we had a roaring fire. And our meals were prepared everyday! Breakfast, lunch and dinner! Even my diaper changes were included as part of the package! We went on several "excursions", including spelunking! In cases like this it pays to be small! We found a nice little lake. Uh, too heavy!

My brother in law ( Uncle Kingsley to Alyssa ) happens to be part of the reserve in Canada. In fact. He just left today for another month long training session. While we were up for an extended visit, he thought it would be fun to dress up my eldest in his gear. I don't think I would feel so light hearted. Give em heck Alyssa!

Watching the fireworks and remembering that last year we were in Idaho and i was in sweat pant and a sweatshirt. and here in MO it was still 90 degrees. i love the midwest! Chris and i went up again without libby, there were plenty of volunteers to watch her. Finally after the rides and the firework show, she fell asleep at about 11:30, even thought the fireworks went well until after midnight. But mostly she loves driving!
