Anecdotal indicators in advance of an election. Anecdotal indicators in advance of an election. Posted by Pamina Firchow. On Sep 29, 2014 in News. By Roger Mac Ginty. As someone who is involved in the Everyday Peace Indicators project, and someone who has just lived through the referendum on Scottish independence, I have been thinking about how informal and anecdotal indicators helped me gauge the public mood in the run up to the referendum. http://everydaypeaceindicators.org/about
The project is a cooperative, bottom-up endeavor. It takes, as a starting point, the belief that local communities are best placed to conduct research on themselves. The project will operate via local NGOs, it will source the indicators from the communities themselves, and will share the research findings with the communities. The project should help communities identify local priorities, and could also help communities identify common goals. You've already signed up, Thanks! April 28, 2016. March 9, 2016.

Specifically, they aim to harness local knowledge of peace and integrate it formally with ongoing international, bilateral and NGO efforts to safeguard transitions towards peace and democracy. 8220;Summer Camp” 08. Andrea and Lara from Padibe IDP Camp, Northern Uganda. No where to turn. July 18, 2008. Well, we’ve made it past the half way mark and we find it very difficult to believe that we have been in Padibe now for more than 2 weeks. Sometimes we find that we start to lose perspective of the situation here but then we are punched in the face (not literally) with reality. The next story will explain. To get the day started we showed the P7 (ages 13-16) class some video from the competition.
