And hopefully return for good as in not taking 6 month hiatuses). We made this cute vid to make a little announcement:. This decision did not come easily! Actually, it was the most difficult decision Justin or I have ever had to make. The next 48-72 hours were just bursting with mixed emotions. I have a lot of emotions in general. Justin and Allie: September 2012

http://justinandallie.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Thursday, September 20, 2012. Trip to Yale and NYU! Here are some pics! Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Here are some pics! Monday, September 17, 2012. Sunday, September 16, 2012. Back to school update. Justin was a good sport this year and took back to school pictures with me! Didn't they turn out cute? Photo cred Bashley Holt. My favorite part is that we took them right outside the SWKT, which is where we spend most/all of our time on campus. (all for me! Justin's fall has been busy so far with medical sc...

Justin and Allie: April 2012

http://justinandallie.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Sunday, April 15, 2012. For the last few months I have been agonizing over a few different decisions for this summer. Basically, Justin and I both had some amazing opportunities to travel but the die-hard cheapskate side of me wasn't sure how it would fit into our budget. If I'm clipping coupons for 20 cents off of a can of beans how can I justify traveling across the world? Good news is the blog should get much more exciting! I'm always better at blogging when I'm abroad. So here are the details. We wil...

Justin and Allie: November 2011

http://justinandallie.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 13, 2011. This title refers to both our wedding day and the day we received our pictures. Since the whole day was pretty much a blur, we couldn't wait to see the pretty day in photos. Nicole Hill. Was our photographer. I think you'll agree she's magic. Here are some of our favorites. And hands-down best pic of the day. Oh hey, Mom! We're all in this together. Since this was our first Halloween as marrieds, we decided to have a party and live it up! Aren't you proud Mom? I love the fish.

Justin and Allie: October 2011

http://justinandallie.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Saturday, October 29, 2011. A few weekends ago, we went on a Sunday drive to see the fall colors. They did not disappoint. We saw this spot (above) and took some family photos. Mom would be proud! There were soo many cars. Utahns love a Sunday drive. My attempts at "photography" while driving in a car. :). Just missing Kimber and Sonya. But I liked the weather better this year. Location: Sundance, UT 84604, USA. Sunday, October 23, 2011. Recently. He described in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Of thi...

I don't think family can win so at least one of my friends could! Thursday, January 19, 2012. Birthday Mexican food and acapella. Justin planned a lovely bday date. Dinner at Red Iguana. In SLC. Thanks to Jess and Sam, we finally found good Mexican food in Utah! Then we drove over to Sugarhouse for an acapella concert. Noteworthy. 6 years ago today.

Tyler & Sonya: Summer in Thatcher

http://tylerandsonya.blogspot.com/2012/07/summer-in-thatcher.html

My mom wanted to come to Oklahoma City to visit us this summer but since. There's nothing to do here. I hadn't been home in awhile, I suggested that I come to Thatcher for a few days instead. I read all of my old high school journals, and cracked up about the "good ol' days! I marveled at the amount of salsas and hot sauces and the horchata in the grocery store and laughed about the tractors driving down the highway. Gotta love that place! Monday we made another tour of the valley taking more pretty cott...

Tyler & Sonya: July 2011

http://tylerandsonya.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

My parents came to visit us in Oklahoma during the HOTTEST time of the year! Tyler and I were wracking our brains for days to come up with cool (in both senses) things to do while they were in town for a few days. We picked them up from the airport and introduced them to an Oklahoma original right off the bat. Braum's. We made a pit stop at Pop's. The home of pop, obviously. They have every bottle of soda you could ever imagine! We ate delicious tex-mex at Mama Roja's on Lake Hefner that night and introd...

http://tylerandsonya.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

These are a few of my favorite things. 2 That delicious pine scent. 3 Mom's homemade fried Christmas Eve tacos. 4 Snow, for skiing of course! 5 Mistletoe, obviously. 6 Those old popcorn tins, loved them as a kid. 7 Peppermint ice cream - my favorite any time of the year. 8 Watching this at least 5, if not 10, times per winter. 9 Reading Christmas stories from church leaders all month. 10 Decking the halls, and tree. 11 Mariah Carey Christmas. All I want for Christmas is youuuuuuu, baby. Grocery shop a cr...

Tyler & Sonya: April 2012

http://tylerandsonya.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Since our stormy tornado weather dissipated, it's been simply gorgeous! It's been in the mid-70's everyday and I'm not complaining! All this beautiful spring weather is getting me excited for summer. It was so nice the other day, we had to go get some popsicles! I couldn't wait any longer. And make these ASAP! We used leftover pulled pork to make tacos! Can you tell I looooove spicy? PW's Dr. Pepper Shredded Pork. Can be used on just about anything! Stormy Pink and Pink Pout}. They're having huge sales a...

Friday, June 19, 2009. Sometimes, you just have to begin. I've known for a long time that I wanted/needed a blog. I even created this blog two months ago, but have put off writing the first post. I didn't know what this blog would be- would it be a travel log, a journal of spiritual insights, a place to post my learnings, or just a jumble of random thoughts and ideas? ORR WHAT?: March 2013

http://orr-what.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 31, 2013. I always prefer to celebrate Christmas year round.also in order to get my 2012 blog Blurb book printed, I have to finish it out. Follow through - always a weakness, BUT we push on, no matter how far off I've put it. This is a blog mostly for my own personal journaling and to keep family and friends updated, so if you're bored real easy, warning: move on now. Also then they can enjoy Christmas in their home with their family. Nana and Papa hooked them up. I always wanted Molly.

ORR WHAT?: August 2012

http://orr-what.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 23, 2012. My life is usually in pictures - so now some words - real words - lots. Lets start back a bit. This last year has been a bit crazy. After Spencer got back from Korea last August we said goodbye to Utah and said hello to Vegas. Why yes Stephanie, you're right, I should move into your DC apartment with you.). Sure But we soaked up every spare moment and weekend and tried to live as much in that year with the little strings attached we had at that time in our lives. Come June/July...

ORR WHAT?: September 2012

http://orr-what.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 30, 2012. I think this is the first Sunday that I've felt at ease, in order, and in the right place for a long while. That place is at home, in San Diego, with the Mr. Sunday's are my favorite, but for the last 2 months they have just been scattered. We've been here, there and everywhere. One ward and the other. Together and apart. Today we are in our home, in our ward, together. It's the first time in a long time I've felt settled. We had been on our own for 3 years, so it was different.

Justin, Alissa, and the Girls. Sunday, November 11, 2012. Tutu and Papa Visit. We were lucky enough to have my Mom and Dad come for a visit in July. It was great to get to spend so much time with them and with the family that lives out here! We started out with a day at the splash pad. The cute kids wanted to get warm in the sun. We had a fun day at the zoo with everyone. Charlotte even got in the spirit! We made sure to get some pictures the last night we were all together. She is now 4! Yup, still silly.
