We went in expecting to adopt an adult (since I didn't want the hassle of training a puppy). However, Quinn stole our hearts with her gentle, calm nature (it also helped that she was mostly house trained). Obviously the kids fell in love with her and their enjoyment of her has only grown. Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Halloween, Christmas, and Snow! So here are the photos we've taken and forgotten to post! Halloween- with a Batman, a Robin, a princess, and a ladybug! The Christmas tradition of graham-cracker "gingerbread" houses (with Aunt Marianne and Uncle Eric). From the left: a rocket, a castle, and a firehouse. The red "floppy guy" was from Mom and Dad and was a big hit! The doll Madeline has in her right hand was crocheted by Justin (dress and shoes too)! Title: A Metally Battle).

Thursday, November 27, 2014. Cast Off and Camping! Updates on our family- Lily's cast off and our camping trip. Lily was very happy to get her cast off (and the woman who took the cast off commented on how well behaved she was). But she still loved the bright pink- she was very excited to be able to bend her arm and it became a whole lot easier to get her dressed! And then we went camping! We have only been once (with borrowed camping gear), but this time we bought a tent and went and had oodles of fun.

5 Boys and a Girl. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. A New Do for New York. So in one week Shane and I and Keasa. Are flying to New York. We are so excited we can't stand it! I got my hair cut and colored just for the trip and summer.I absolutely. LOVE it. It is so easy to do and even I can't make it look bad. my hair stylist, Emily is a saint and a magic worker! We are so excited for the trip but mostly to spend time with Kara and Jordan and the Boys. I miss them So much and can't wait for them to meet Keasa.

5 Boys and a Girl. Saturday, January 24, 2009. It was white with two blue stripes and some graphite rubbed over it for a cool silver look. With about ten cars under his belt, Shane has just about mastered the derby car. He fixes the wheels so they get maximum speed, then shines the axles so there is no friction, then packs both with graphite for maximum speed. Shane is such a great Dad. He makes it fun for each boy and teaches them how its done. We love him TONS. Great job Nate! Saturday, January 17, 2009.

If he could spend every second of every day in the garage with Dad he would. So with that time and in that space a few accidents are bound to occur. This one happened while on a bench and he slipped off and caught the edge of a 2x4 on his cheek. It really wasn't that bad and only one spot was actually. 10 minutes it started to go black.

Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Nate and Mina got married Oct. 18th at A Different Point of View. The wedding was so fun and absolutley beautiful. Us girls had a great weekend together helping Mina get ready for and celebrate her big day. We've all known eachother since we were 13! At the pumpkin patch. We took Caleb to Mother Nature's farm to pick out pumpkins last week. We took him there last year too, but he definitely had more fun this time! Our family at Ashley's wedding.
