8-30-13 {A Birth Story}*. During the whole month of August I had been having a lot of contractions, some lasted a few seconds, other lasted minutes, very rarely were they painful. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. I know I am a slacker this summer. Ok, yes we are still alive and kicking! Speaking of 4th of July, we had such a wonderful time at the Mounts! We got to see fireworks, eat lots of good food, and see some questionable dance moves (j/k! Here are some pictures from around that time. Dresden loves to put Daddy's hats on. And he also loves messing up my phone. The other day he had sent and email, a text, and changed my background picture! This kid is too smart for my own good. :).

Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Dresden had his 18 month checkup today. Here is how he measured up:. Weight - 27 lbs 50-55%. Height - 34 ins 85-90%. Head Circ - 49 cm. So he is still doing well and still growing! As he has a few words he now says once says, "Hi", "up", "apple" and "purple", he still babbles and babbles away. The doctor called this "advanced jargon". It has a name! Up the tractor steps. And down the tractor steps. Up the house stairs. And down the stairs. And stop to wash the dishes.

My due date is September 22nd. That is still almost a month away? I have been feeling ever since about 26 weeks that there is nooo way this boy is going to stay in there until the end of September! At my 34 week appointment I was already at a 1. But just barely. At my 35 week appointment I was at a 4. What's that? It was August 21st a full month before my due date and I am already at a 4? A little prego progression picture}. I have been having braxton hicks and bigger contractions for several weeks now.

I love the kid, and he is so sweet and fun, but I am getting so frustrated when it comes to clean up time. He whines and moves like a sloth when it is time to clean up toys. Reese is 11 months old! Taking her picture while lying down was dang near impossible.because she can finally crawl! Now that she has experienced life as a mobile baby she rarely stays in one place for longer than 1 minute.
