As I type the title to this blog post, I am still in a slight state of shock that those words could actually come from this body. Last August I hesitantly signed up for a running program called Run for God. This is the Run for God team from my Sunday School class. This is the most amazing and supportive man on the planet. I took a Girl's Trip to visit the candlelight Christmas tour at the Biltmore and Ashville during one of the weekends in December. Tuesday, April 10, 2012. At the end of last week, we took a little mini trip to Charleston.2 days and one night. We had a lot of fun packed into a small amount of time! Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Our little buddy, Scott, turned 5 on Sunday! It was a fun filled weekend of celebrating. He had a baseball party at the Irmo baseball field on Saturday followed by a little family celebration on Sunday. Then, on Tuesday his class celebrated with him at school. I can't believe my buddy is 5! It seems like yesterday that he was born 3 weeks and 5 days early weighing only 5lbs 15oz. He was a petite little thing! Greyson thought he needed to help Scott open all his presents!

Sunday, April 28, 2013. Our Journey to Ethiopia. Words can't express the emotions that we were going through leaving home on Thursday! The hardest thing I have ever had to do was leave Eli at home but also we were so excited and ready to meet Jeremiah for the first time. Through prayers from family and friends and clinging to some of my favorite verses, God was my rock and I handled leaving a lot better than I thought I would. God continues to teach me that he is in control and works out every detail!
